A word about blogs.  Blogs are great and good and all that.  I'm not going to be blogging on this site. (Gasp!)  Here's why. 

First of all, I can't imagine anyone would really care what I'm thinking about.  The thoughts are so random half the time that it would be hard for a Ph.D. in stream-of-thought to follow. 

Secondly, I really don't have enough time.  Something has to go and blogging is a good choice because....

Thirdly.  I have never been good at journaling for school, keeping diaries past the age of about 13 or any of those excellent exercises.  Others are good at this, but unfortunately I am not one of them.

All that being said, I will be certain to let all and sundry know if I guest blog, blog tour or any of the above.  That, I may be able to do from time to time. 

But for now, my precious writing time needs to go to writing my books.   

I will of course be happy to engage in email dialogue
at any time. :)  Thanks for your understanding.

2007 UPDATES:

My essay work has been notoriously lax!  Outside of various   newsletters, I've not submitted or published an essay this year.

2006 UPDATES:

My essay was in first person  format in "The Front Porch" syndicated newspaper column.

The column was about my 20th class reunion.  Not a funny work, but hey, they bought it!
